Farmers’ protest continues at Shambhu railway station of Ambala division. Due to this, the route of 35 trains of the division going to Punjab-Jammu will remain changed till May 21. These trains are being run via Ambala-Chandigarh.
These include Sealdah, Jammu Tawi, Shaheed, Begumpura Express etc. Senior DCM Aditya Gupta said that the routes of (15097) Bhagalpur Jammu Tawi Amarnath Express, (12237) Banaras Jammu Tawi Begumpura Express, (15652) Guwahati-Jammu Tawi Express, (18103) Tatanagar-Amritsar Jallianwala Bagh Express have been changed.
(13005) Howrah-Amritsar Punjab Mail, (13151) Kolkata Jammu Tawi Sealdah Express, (13307) Dhanbad-Ferozepur Ganga Sutlej Express, (14617) Purnia Court-Amritsar Janseva Express, (14649) Jaynagar Amritsar Saryu-Yamuna Express, (12491) Barauni-Jammuthavi Mordhwaj Express will run on the diverted route.
(12357) Kolkata-Amritsar Durgiana Express, (12355) Patna- Jammutawi Express, (14603) Saharsa-Amritsar Jansadharan Express, (12203) Saharsa-Amritsar Garibrath Express, (12407) Newjalpaiguri- Amritsar Karmabhoomi Express, (15933) Newtinsukia- Amritsar. Express, (04651) Jaynagar-Amritsar Clone Express will run till 21st May via Ambala Chandigarh-New Morinda-Sirhind-Sanehwal.
While returning from Amritsar, all these trains will run via Sanehwal-Chandigarh-Ambala. Apart from these, (15211-12) Darbhanga-Amritsar Jannayak Express will be operated till Ambala only. On return, this train will run from Ambala only till 21st May.
